Please allow for a waiting time of two to four weeks. If there are existing complications and / or the suspicion of a fetal anomaly, you will be given an emergency appointment within one or two days.
When making an appointment, you will need the following information and documents:
- Knowledge of the examination you require and / or the probable issue
- The name of your gynaecologist
- The current week of pregnancy or your due date
- Health insurance
- Your contact details: telephone number and email address
You can of course also take advantage of all of our services as a private patient.
Sadly, it is not always possible for us to avoid keeping you waiting. We do however try to minimise delays as much as possible. Please be patient if you have to wait longer than usual, especially if we are dealing with an emergency.
The examination
You may of course bring family members with you. However, we would be grateful if no more than two family members accompany you into the examination room. This also applies to children.
For legal reasons, please do not take photographs or make film recordings during the examination.
All examinations are conducted on an outpatient basis. Treatment normally requires an inpatient stay of 1 to 3 days so as to ensure the safety of the unborn child. We will deviate from this only in exceptional circumstances.
You will receive a report of our findings immediately after the examination. One copy is for your doctor, and the other should be kept in your maternal health passport.
